I wanted to share with the thread that I recently took delivery of a parallel port ezFlyer230, and it's nothing short of outstanding. Best 116 computer-related dollars I've ever spent.

Even though it's a parallel port conector, it is still (almost) fast enough from which to run all of the kid's games. I use it to transfer files back and forth from the kids' and my computer. I'll get the internal IDE ezFlyer230 next, and I'll never buy another hard drive again. I've found the cartridges for $93 per 5 pack. I don't expect to ever need more drive space than my 3.2 HD and my ezFlyer230 with the 5 pack.

If Syquest can turn a profit at these rates, then they should eventually do well with this one. More than twice as much product for the dollar than Iomega. It's so efficient, this has to put even more pressure on the already sick HD sector. I don't see ever needing the 1.5 Syquest drive. The 100mb Iomega is too small. And the 1 and 2 gig removable drives are too big and too expensive for this average end user.
