Public Policy Polling issued a new poll on Friday that asked Republicans if they were in favor of bombing the Middle Eastern town of Agrabah. An overwhelming 30% of voting Republicans agreed that they do, in fact, believe that Agrabah should be bombed for one reason or another. There’s just one tiny problem…Agrabah is the fictional town in Disney’s Aladdin. Raw Story reports say that this poll: “..perfectly encapsulates the Republican presidential race so far.” People are so worked up by the GOP’s fear mongering that they are willing to bomb any town that even remotely sounds Middle Eastern. That is absolutely absurd! If I didn’t personally know Republicans to be this ignorant, I would think this was satire. With candidates like Ted Cruz calling for “carpet-bombings” that would cause the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent Syrians, and Chris Christie trying to start WWIII with Russia and China, Americans are completely petrified. And rightfully so! If I were feeble enough to believe all the crap coming out of the Republican Party, I would think the entire world were coming to an end. Republicans aren’t the only ones to blame here, though. Raw Story had this to say about it: “It’s worth noting that Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton is just as militaristic, or more so, than most of the Republicans when it comes to Isis and Iran. She has at least refrained, however, from calling for World War III with Russia or launching drone strikes in Mexico.”
