There is a serious flaw in academic studies that show splitting stocks outperforming nonsplitting stocks. It is a statistical problem that cannot be fixed (to the best of my knowledge). I am reluctant to get into it since the level of analysis on the thread is pretty much one of seeing a huge market, no competition and a company run by a woman as well liked as Aunt Bee on the old Andy Griffith (black & white)TV show. Can you close your eyes & picture her?
