EVERYONE HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY...HERE'S MY CHRISTMAS GIFT TO YOU ALL I sat with a coin box in a busy store Hoping someone would contribute to the poor But empty souls, arms filled passed near And mumbled "go away,I don't have it this year" I heard the carolers singing, voicing Worshipping the Lord with song,rejoicing And it saddened me, it wasn't there It seemed like Christmas wasn'tanywhere And while all around me abundance flowed A child approached, in rags was clothed Three coins came from his pocket deep He said "this is for the poor to keep It isn't much, I wish it more But it took a month to save it for The ones with nothing, I really care I wish I had more to put in there But I can't wrap what else I give The gift is special to all who live My gift is LOVE AND PEACE TODAY And I give it freely on Christmas day" He filled my heart with love that day For he had given all away And he never thought that he was poor While I grew rich while in that store And I'll remember all my years Of that gift from a boy who brought me tears And it didn't matter who else walked by For a small poor child had shown me why And I will swear I heard above An angelic voice, filled with love "For unto you a child is born In Bethlehem on Christmas morn.
