I had prefered Netscape Navigator until IE 4. Microsoft has a winner here. Thus regardless of what happens MSFT will win.
There will be some bruises in the short term. So though I have a long position, I am also lately short also and would add more short The government could be a Bully and a tyrant, and this guy Klien is if it does not settle this issue quickly.
no easy fellow.
I still think this is the best company in the world, but these a dark times for technology, and there is too much uncertainty in the market.
I think next year belongs to the shorts in technology.
There will be a January Rally..then it would be downhill from there.
What may help MSFT would be the buying back of its stock, which had slowed when the stock got above 130.
I expect the buying to increase in order to fund their huge option plans.
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, wonderful Kwansa, and a bright and prosperous 1998 to ALL!
