Charles, The screwdriver shops are strong in Toronto. There is one place with a dozen within 200 yards, ir reminds me of the ZGolden Shopping center in Hong Kong where there were three floors selling pirate software and apple and IBM clones.
I hear they now sell CDs made in Red China with 640 Meg of pirate software on each one, all forn$10 US. half a dozen of these and you have everything written for all things. When DVD arrives it will get worse.
I think they will have to go to widespread hardware keys or phone in signatures systems to save a lot of places from bankruptcy due to home CD copying.

Prices in Toronto are a bit lower than the USA, as it is all duty free.
