cpq sells winNT and Unix..
in fact unix can be put on most major pc's and pc workstations.
this isn't the limiting issue.
the issue is all the real neat applications you can buy are moving to Win NT. they are cheaper and easier to support.

I don't see it happening. A SUNW buyout by IBM seems more likely, IMO. I believe CPQ sells SCO-Unix to those who just won't buy NT, but NT will be the main growth area for them for the forseeable future.

Tandem makes Fault Tolerant Unix servers ( S400RK ).
