A little air-kiss on each cheek is the Saudi way. A few years before I worked there co-workers from Land Department told me about the day they walked two blocks up from the Market Street Chevron offices to the St Francis Hotel, along with people from other departments to meet a Saudi delegation who strolled down to our cashmere carpeted hospitality suite on the 40th floor of 595 Market Street. When the Saudi's appeared at the hotel entrance the VP of Land casually said under his breath to his department heads, "Well, aren't they a group of horses asses."
