Well you seem very familiar with the antics. lol We were with the Gator Navy. Amphibious Battalion Landing Team. I was on an LST with Causeways strapped to the sides. We did we degree rolls because the flat bottom ship isn't very good in the ocean. When the causeways slammed against the water we would roll back to the other side. We frequently had to declare "independent ship" because our rudder was out of the water more than it was in it.
