Jack,
As usual great feed back. However, I don't want to be misled. That has cost me plenty in the past. I've been there done that and I still want only the truth not a mistake. I do appreciate your judgement call on basis of contracts, revenue , etc. a very positive indicator. That doesn't mean I don't want to hear about negative issues, it just means I want to make sure I know what I'm talking about before I start up with one. Sandie

Dear Jack and all: Well I guess I owe everyone an apology. I went back and READ the FIRST press release and it clearly says ORDERS for the 1st half NOT revenue. I dont know where we somehow got off the track and started calling it revenue. Since we did not hire a lot of new people and since we are told not a lot of CD-Rom sales I have to presume that the quarter revenue will equal last quarter PLUS the revenue from the 15 engineers previously assigned to working on preparing the CD-Rom. I am not going to venture a guess at this time. Except to say net profit is very unlikely to be over about .02 unless some recovery is evident from write downs last quarter.
As to NUMBER OF SHARES, I strongly suggest you stick to the 24mm figure. Well I no longer have the details there is no doubt in my mind that management themselves indicated 23mm prior to the PP. Of course all those shares are not outstanding for this quarter. JDN

Jack. The total number of shares is about 24.1 million.

According to the company, as stated in the Sept. conference call for
the fourth quarter fy 97, there were 23.1 million shares.

This includes both shares outstanding and shares underlying warrants,
options, etc.
Add in the 955,000 shares from the pp and some penalties and you get
around 24.1 million shares.

Again this is fully diluted.

According to the S-3A there about 17 million shares outstanding.
This is the figure, more or less, that will be used to determine
earnings.

Let me repeat this total figure is based on what the company said.
