Is there a black market for guns? I don't see why there should be. At least not in any organized sense. There are web sites where you can find people willing to sell you guns over the Internet. It is no problem to find a willing seller within driving distance.

Gun control laws can work. Look at Connecticut. Killings declined by 40% when they enacted some laws in 1994. Seems that not everyone is willing to drive to another state.
