I wouldn't worry about paying U.S. taxes while abroad. Just keep filing from a U.S. address and only declare U.S. income if any, and liquidate all american assets. The American government may think it owns its citizens but if you move abroad and don't return you are rid of them. Just make sure you get another citizenship so you have "diplomatic immunity" from the American disease.
