Carnival files debt, class A stock shelf
WASHINGTON, Dec 24 (Reuters) - Carnival Corp on Wednesday made a shelf registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to sell up to $730 million in debt securities and Class A common stock.
When combined with a previous registration, the cruise line operator will have $1 billion in debt and stock available for sale.

The Miami company said it would use net proceeds for working capital and general corporate purposes, which may include repayment of debt.
