I suppose hearing clearly better describes what I'd hope for. It seems that in election year's, or the year before, intelligence goes by the wayside. Unfortunately, we have elections of major consequence every two years, so intelligence constantly goes by the wayside. I frankly wish all politics was handled by a series of public debates, no commercials, visits, etc. It won't happen but if you really wanted to put an end to the national debt you could apply all the money spent on politics that essentially is like burning up money. We do get a lot of hot air from this investment, perhaps it's contributing to global warming as well. We're getting a lot of rain today in Southern Calif. It's very needed, but when it comes in such a concentrated way I know much of it will end up at sea, rather than being captured for future use. We really need to develop better ways of capturing and utilizing the rain everywhere rather than relying on snowfall feeding our lakes and reservoirs. Gary
