The DoT has refused to give interviews on y2k. This, according to USA TODAY. The FAA is part of the DoT. Will you schedule a flight for December 31, 1999? * * * * * * * * Transportation has upgraded just 7% of its critical systems, and is the only major federal agency that doesn't have a chief information officer overseeing Y2K issues. Transportation officials declined repeated requests for interviews.
