>>> Well, it's not local, but I'd pick Sam Smith's Nut Brown ale @ 115.

So put in your best guess on the price and we will negotiate.

To answer Dan's question about whether the MSFT boosters will take this bet, I would say not. But maybe some will surprise us. courage, lads! Step on up.

MSFT price March 2 ship's lottery entrants so far:

(We have more people volunteering beer brands than prices! C'mon, folks!)

Keith H: $110

Chaz H: $100

Mike I: Mike, price this date March 2? Not $75, but what?

Justin B: $115

Who was it that said 60 bucks, anyway?

Dan S?

Eugene K?

Li Cai?

How about when people put in their entries they quote this whole page, so I don't have to go bak every time, eh? (This is one kind of subthread where the newsgroup software is vastly superior to the 'advanced' forum group software being used by web site administrators.)

Aside to Dan: Yes, Anchor Steam, or one of the other Anchor beers. Anchor Hocking is indeed the glass company. Guess I have some short-circuits in the beer area. Hmm, wonder how that could happen...

Anchor may not be the best microbrewery beer, but it may have been the first well known one. Anyway, they're local boys, so you won't need to UPS the case when I win!

Good choice.
