It really was a lousy trigger, Tide.....It almost always "surprised" me when it broke (I'll leave off the name brand, since there are others of the same make that are great) ....I would never seriously knock the 40 cal. and prefer it to the .45. I grew right out of short pants into something with a hammer on it.....and there are some mighty fine DAO triggers out there and I own a few (already confessed about the Kahr), but my thumb expects to get into the act.
