Suffice it to say, these latest press releases, for better or worse,
seem to be compensating for years of bottled-up understatement
which had hitherto been this company's stock-in-trade . That being
said, I certainly understand the concern expressed, first, by B.D.
and subsequently echoed by my old friend, the perspicacious
James Knox.

I have been following this company for many years; these press
statements are quite a departure from prior releases. I can
only add that I do not think the stalwart Mr. Blystone would
be party to such forward looking press if there were insufficient
grounds for this apparently unbridled optimism.

That aside, is anyone else sweating this one out?!- he asked
rhetorically. After all, a discovery is only a discovery after
it is found.

BadDog's tracks led me to TRIL... now I'm on the porch, waiting to come in.. ;-) Whoops, someone came out and I slipped in! Blame in on Roy..

As a long term investor in natgas via Royale Energy - ROYL, another fine company, I had occasion to exchange posts with Roy (BadDog) and John Allen on that thread. However, I followed BadDogs tracks back to Tri-Valley and have been lurking around for about nine months.

I found the TRIL story interesting and getting better as time went by. This week, I decided to invest in TRIL, only to discover my local "discount" broker in Charlottesville VA wanted 6 cents a share minimum, and my other broker (full service), AG Edwards was equally expensive. I ended up taking some $$$ and driving the 70 miles to Richmond VA to open up a Waterhouse account ($12 transactions), and then bought some TRIL, and then did some Xmas shopping in Richmond.

I was impressed with the start of drilling of F zone well, as it would likely bring increased publicity, volume, and increased share price. It appears to be happening with the additional press releases this week and with the huge jump in volume.

Having followed natgas exploration and production in California as an investor, I see TRIL at a buck a share as a good valuation, even without the F zone. Only 18 million for a company with the number two California production level in one of the best natgas markets in the US, and a prospect of increased reserves from drilling the F zone, is a steal. This is even without giving any value to gold or other TRIL aspects, like competition in electric production, etc..

Best wishes to all for the coming New Year, and may it first bring good health, and second... wealth. Found some TRIL shares in my stocking this morning (working on #2). Now, I've got to start working some of that turkey and dressing off..
