It was ten degrees when I pushed the button this morning. Had to be warmer in their house then outside, but it always looks like a jail break. The only heat they have is in their water. I have a buddy that puts a heat light in his chicken house. I told him that they are dinosaurs and they can take it, otherwise they would have never survived "back in the day." Been years since we raised meat birds. My wife's mother was a wiz killing and cleaning them. Her daughter is not the farm girl she was. They were great tasting, but I would have to do everything myself. Heck, I even give my extra roosters away.
