Chinu--- that we die when the opportunity to do so arise such as from a bullet or illness. They take NIMBY to new heights....ethics to new lows... I think that it will take the horrible tragedy to strike their families in order for them to stop working for the NRA.........Terrible thing to contemplate and it sounds vindictive---but in recent weeks, I've come to accept that mass shootings are becoming the new normal in our country. I don't see a path to decrease them with our political system as it is... Ideas to prove me wrong(which I'd love)?

CHINU Pure politics and nonsense in your statements. You are a smarter thinker than to issue such blather. Republicans want solutions that actually work. Obamacare is not working and will fall on its own merits within a few years. He should not have pushed a huge entitlement program through without any bipartisan consensus (1st time in history) and only got through by misleading public and buying votes. On guns what he has done will add nothing and stop nothing. There is some consensus on this but rather than working with congress, which takes some work, he prefers to act like a dictator and issue decrees. It is humorous that the democrats are pushing gun control (to supposedly save lives) yet support Roe vs Wade (killing babies) Do you know that under this law our country has killed tens of millions of lives ( we all were a fetus) Many more than all of the gun deaths and those that have died in all wars put together. Yet you all claim the moral ground. Blessings Neil
