Nice ! I scored good community points leaving 5 perfect tomatoes on friends front door knobs. I planted 40 tomato plants, each plant produced at least 30 and some 50 tomatoes. I made 70 quarts of salsa and gave away over 100 perfect tomatoes. In turn I got: jelly, pickled beets, corn, and the very best home made bread I've ever had. The joy of a garden is in sharing and fortunately where I live, many enjoy reciprocating. I love being a country boy - yet some of the year I live in Houston. A country boy can survive (with a pretty big smile on my face too) Always love hearing your posts Joan. Bob
