I definitely care about mental illness and the use of guns. There are times when suicide is impulsive and times when it was a gesture that went wrong. Most people who genuinely want to die are looking for a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Many suicides not employing firearms do things just as destructive. There are a range of victims from friends, family and work associates to the person who commits the act. Living can sometimes be intolerable for some people. I surely don't have all the answers.
