Some thoughts regarding the recent insider purchases and sales. I believe the sales came first, but they were insignificant. Most, including myself, had really no problem with that. However, I would have liked to see more aggressive insider buying than was reported. I believe it was only slightly more than 1K shares. I would have gotten excited with a couple insiders buying like 10K shares-something that would/could change the Street's perception of Cymer.

By the way, did anyone watch Squawk Box this morning, with Cramer? He said he wants to hear from more companies that things are OK re: asia turmoil. He said he is tired of hearing it only from Cymer, and then two others that I forgot...may have mentioned AMAT and INTC. Did anyone else catch it? If so, please post.

Happy Holidays-I know it would have been much cheerier with Cymer at $30+(my cost:()

ps I may take one more plunge with Cymee on Friday, just to dramatically lower my avg. I really don't even know my exact price-will have to go check the records...

I do believe that S. Korea views DUV steppers as a farmer views seed corn. They have to have them for the next crop of chips. Without chips they're out of business. All those fabs will stand idle if they can't compete in the 0.25 nm arena. Korea will they get all the money they need from the US, Japan, and other Asian lenders. Korea is too important a market to let wither. Tulvio
