Hard to argue. Seems people are looking for any excuse to sell these days. But if AOL really counted trial members as full subscribers, that should be their problem, and their hit, not any other company's.

It is not at all clear that AOL is losing their installed base. What they have to do now is to publish figures for the previous several months, &c. under the new accounting procedures.
