I wonder if Seabridge will have a repeat of 2008 - 2009, a 4 bagger off the bottom in 7 months.
$17 by the end of February does the trick.

Seabridge doesn't have any economically mineable reserves-they only have "resources". I can't imagine they can fool the market a second time.

bto.to - when posting that i was thinking of asking you what's up -g- ... looks like a financing on the way? - that's the first guess, Fekola being huge and with very nice numbers but its production is over two years away and they're what, usd300m or so shy of its capex ... while they owe half a billion or whatever in debt already, likely not going to pay for Fekola that way ... this balance sheet layout is what gives the stock high leverage imho, great assets in the hands of great operators yet if gold went way south they'd be down the tubes ... well it would take a while, and they would have certain options, still a case can be made for the situation being scarey ... there could easily be institutions lightening up even without expecting to get in cheaper on a raise, and combined with those who do expect it, you get a dumporama ... ?? ... just guessing, but i think it's plain that the sentiment of gold never coming back is quite strong out there in the world of those who handle OPM, the customers demand it, by and large ... which is fine with me, i figure gold is unlikely to go much lower for very long and stands decent chance of coming back during this year, so i probably would have added some even without the selloff [been holding bto continuously since the Volta takeout, and thanks again to Vet for that call, what a beauty, saved my 2013 from near-total disaster]

Incakolanews Otto seems to like bto - incakolanews.blogspot.ca

PDAC coming, yes time to start making plans around that ... no pre-PDAC ramps in anything last year, as i recall, disappointing

sea.to - i kinda share teevee's sentiment on Seabridge, the fact remains however that they can promote something fierce, so will the stock ramp when gold moves and they take their medicine show on the road, oh yeah absolutely ... and it does have huge optionality, sure, for quality in that regard though i greatly prefer ckg.v with its management who doesn't make you nervous

Had a fair amount of cash come into rrsp/tfsa/resp accounts this last week, spent some on glh.c, dmm.to, fcv.v, all unreasonably cheap imho, but over half went into bto.to on friday, i'll probably lighten up on it in some accts when it bounces, go back to original plan of bidding on several other faves ... lsg.to and crj.to among them, wouldn't mind a bit if both pulled back some

I'm curious... do you use the change in COT positions to help in your trading decisions?
