It looks like PFIZER has started to correct. I like the stock, however,I would not buy it intill it shows some signs of strenght. Right now it looks sick; on the chart I see lower highs. Also the near 2 points drop wensday on big volume(for a 4.5 hours trading day) does not promise much gains during upcoming days.
Just a thought.

Steve."I am thinking about adding a pharm. co. to my LT portfolio".
IMHO don't. I think Pharm Cos are going to get the squeeze in 98 because health care costs are the only place were companies can still trim fat. Most colds in offices are viral and DON'T need an antibiotic.Expensive antibiotics will go. Generics are in.Big discounts will be the key.Pharm Cos witha PE of 30 are not going to fly long.At most, if you REALLY want a pharm Co you should buy one that is not overvalued.I can't advise you because even though I am a physician I don't follow pharm Cos.The last three you mentioned hoever seem to be the cheapest from what I recall from glimpses here and there.I like Merck and JJ. Novartis is good ( don' know if it is cheap).
