I suppose that is where we are headed, but its a situation I don't like. I don't like upgrading unless there is something in it for me, its bad for the environment. Can you imagine if cars were like that? This is all possible because the computer business is still a virtual monopoly. Not enough competition. Technology makes it so... vast amounts of money are required to compete.
