It's not crap. In fact, you could not possibly be more wrong about large institutions move to open standards and there is no question about the openess of Microsoft's products as compared to those being offered by Bull, Sun, NCR, IBM or any other Java technology vendor. Instead of dismissing new developments as crap, save that characterization for COBOL, COM and other, demonstrable crap. That way you don't end up with egg on your face a few months down the road.
