Using the term "full understanding" implies we kinda have a partial understanding. That's not true. The ideas put forward are wild ass guesses. Life is software based and there's no law of physics or chemistry that will devise software languages and write software. If you walk into the woods and see an iPhone sitting on the trunk of a tree, you can be sure it didn't just happen by some non-intelligent cause, not even if you posit a 4 billion year long process. No iPhone can reproduce itself, power itself, repair itself, but the simplest form of life imaginable can do all that and more.
