It's likely that I'll see a Republican sweep of the House, Senate and the Presidency. Voters are likely to throw the Democrats out on their ears, blaming them for economic mismanagement of the economy and the loss of jobs caused by the recession. (I'm looking a few months out here.) Of course, the real cause of the recession is the Fed's insane mismanagement of interest rates, but they'll probably dodge a bullet once again. Wrecking the economy seems to be their specialty.
