Stockmate;

You never cease to amaze me! I have read this twice now. Thanks! I will have to print this out and share it with my family before bedtime tonight. If I can hold them still long enough! To all on here!

Christmas Day is here at last
it comes each year, but it never comes fast.
A fateful day 2000 years ago
A story all people must come to know.
It's a beautiful day, all is just right,
A grand finale to a sleepless night.
In the Garden of Gesthemane Jesus did preach
People gathered around to hear Him teach.
With family and loved ones we gather this morn
to celebrate the day that Jesus was born.
Alas He's betrayed by a faithful friend
A sign His life on Earth would end.
We sit around the tree and carols we sing
wondering what gifts that Santa did bring
Dragged before Pilate, sentenced to death
Crucify him! crowds shout with one breath.
We carry the gifts our burden is light
passing them out to our left and our right
He carried His cross and shuffled along
Wearing a crown of thorns, 'twas all so wrong!
The clock strikes 9 and it's time to begin,
We tear into gifts, our glee has no end.
They tear into flesh with a cat-o-nine tails
The hammer drives home the bone piercing nails.
Lauther and mirth as tears of joy flow
anguish, and sadness as the blood of life flows
Finally it's over, it has come to an end
Finally it's over, it has come to an end
Lest we forget what we're doing here
Celebrating Christmas year after year
Not only do we celebrate Jesus' birth,
But His death and resurrection and life on Earth!
