I called today and Michelle in the main office says she is in for the trip to Portugal..take a hint... the tax loss selling is over, a core hopefully will be in hand by the end of January and then by March we hope to see a full fledged production well up and running. Do you think they will get a better deal with the major after that than they would have before?...duh! I think the majors made a big mistake in waiting for more evidence and not being willing to speculate with the rest of us that this will work. Now if the core is good, the competition will be fierce since the potential value of the field is in the billions and do not forget they have now presumably acquired more land, and meanwhile, back at the ranch, as in "bet the ranch", the Turkey play and Alberta play and their cash positions have all improved. Remember this is right next to a huge market hungry for energy and full of potential investors as well. So check for the best beaches in Portugal hope that these next two wells work and remember anything can happen and if they miss, the game will be seriously set back, possibly over, and if they hit and you have enough shares, you should have a big smile on your face by June. .45 cdn and under turned out (correctly) to be the buy zone both in the beginning and on this dip for SIR. Good percentage move right out of the box and it should continue until the results of the first well come out, and then a real run should start or the thing should fall apart. All fingers crossed.
