To All: **********Off Topic - slightly*************
When IMF offers 10B loan to South K., how much do charge in points, interest rate. I know they attach lots of strings like they ask the receiving nation to modify their financial policies ( balancing the budget, open markets, less restriction on trade etc etc...).
Just curious.
Thanks.
Happy Holidays to all.

I can see a partnership with Sun and CPQ, but not a merger. CPQ will want to play both ends and team with both Sun and Microsoft. If CPQ and Sun merged, then Microsoft would cause them all the grief that it could.

Cpq also has a teaming with SCO for Unix. I thnink that CPQ whats to become the hardware platform of choice and you can have any OS that you want. Thus they can sell all of the hardware - full scope from desktop, server, and clustered mini. Don't forget that Tandem also has a brand of Unix so that a merger with Sun would be somewhat counter productive.
