INDEX UPDATE
---------------------------------

The DOW closed up 19, but what was interesting was that the NAZ closed up 11, which basicly means that the NAZ out paced the DOW which has been a rare occurance of late.

It is also a good sign that the NAZ has bottomed and is showing strength. It should continue for the short-term, and not to say that it will be on fire.

I would also like to bring to attention what was mentioned on CNBC that recently the put volume has been quite high. If the put volume is actually high for JAN, then we may also see a short squeeze in the near future.

Today's performance helped confirm per my system that the reversal which started last Friday is still intact and that we should not revisit those lows of last Friday in the short-term.
