Damn, that was quick. Wonder if they ever paid Algore all the money. I recall they were taking it to court, because he sold them a network with close to ZERO ratings.
Al Jazeera America to Shut Down in April
The cable news channel Al Jazeera America, which debuted in 2013 to great fanfare when it promised to cover American news soberly and seriously, is shutting down at the end of April. The move was announced at a companywide meeting on Wednesday.

Headline of the Day
Power Line by Steven Hayward

Okay, it’s only a little after 9:30 eastern time, but I’m pretty sure this yuuuge story in the Wall Street Journal will not only win the day but will also show up in a Donald Trump speech pretty soon:

Denmark Considers Seizing Valuables From Migrants

By Charles Duxbury

Denmark’s minority government has secured cross-party backing for a highly-controversial plan: Seize cash and valuables from asylum seekers to help meet the cost of their stay in the Nordic country.

The United Nations’ refugee agency has sharply criticized the plan that could be adopted by Parliament as early as next month, calling it a deeply concerning response to humanitarian needs. The agency appealed to Denmark to drop the new measures.

But the Danish government is continuing to press ahead with a number of initiatives that authorities describe as attempts to make the country less attractive to immigrants.

Gee, it’s almost as though Bernie Sanders’s favorite social democracy thinks it has a problem or something.

There are literally dozens of ideas that have been put forward, all contradictory, nothing precise about any of them.

OK, so then with only a vague idea about how it happened historically we still made amino acids artificially. Your point isn't much of a direct response, as for the large argument, it would be an argument against "we know for sure it happened", or "we know exactly how it works", but its hardly an argument for "we know it can't happen", if anything the lack of knowledge is an argument against the idea that we know it didn't or can't happen.

I said I could give a number of examples of people actually SAYING that they WANT God to not exist and that that desire had driven their thinking ... it's not just me ascribing it to them:

I'm sure there are some, I think I may have even heard or read one or two of them. But I don't think any of them are part of this conversation, and it really isn't about their comments, so they aren't very relevant. (Until and unless someone replies in this conversation with similar comments, or supporting quotes from such people, and even then it wouldn't be very relevant to anything I'm saying.)
