AMCOR Capital Corporation Begins Trading On NASDAQ

Coachella California, (Wednesday, December 24, 1997) - AMCOR Capital Corporation Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Fred Behrens announced today that its common stock has been approved for listing by NASDAQ, beginning today. The stock was previously listed on the OTC Bulletin Board.

Mr. Behrens stated that, "AMCOR's earnings have grown over 400% in the last three years and that this growth has not been reflected in our price/earnings multiple due to restrictions by major brokerage firms against trading OTC stocks." Mr. Behrens continued, "With this approval for listing on the NASDAQ stock market these restrictions should be removed. We believe that this will not only increase visibility and liquidity but should also lead to a higher price/earnings multiple, enhancing shareholder value, which is a primary goal of AMCOR."

AMCOR's trading symbol will remain ACAP on NASDAQ.

The Company just announced its fiscal 1997 financial results and reported a fourth consecutive year of record net income, up 22% from 1996. Also, in November the Company announced the acquisition of TransPacific Environmental, Inc., a green waste recycling and municipal county and State tree maintenance company, located in Santa Fe Springs, California.

AMCOR has three operating divisions: a fully integrated agricultural division, which produces over 150 million pounds of food products annually in California and Oregon; a real estate development division which manages a portfolio of development properties in California and Texas and; a biomass division which is engaged in green waste recycling and municipal, county and State tree maintenance in California.
