" Is Cube the best short you can find as Cube rests and builds its base near a 52 week low"?

Excuse me, Cube has been one of the best shorts since the August Top, falling 50% while the Dow has fallen about 7.5% and the Nasdaq about 15%! You seem to forget ED that Cube has been in a vicious two year bear market falling from a high in the low 70's. I see much further downside in regard to Cube short term. It can and will fall another 50% from these lofty levels in the first half of 98. That would complete a 3 year full circle return to the level it was at in 95! I don't think you are aware of the real risks here. Most people on these threads have not experienced a real Bear Market and are not aware of what it can do to a small cap like Cube. Stubborness, innocence and/or naivety causes many investors to go bankrupt in bear markets. You did not buy Cube low enough. If you loved it under $18, you will get a chance to love it even more under $10! Stocks like Cube don't form a base at their 52 week low during Bear Markets! They try to form a base and rally but FAIL! They become falling knives, hitting new lows as the Bear Market deepens. Moreover, I do think most people on this thread are naive. No one anticipated a move back to the yearly lows this summer. Who anticipates new lows now? The fundamentals will deteriorate also in the first half of 98 for Cube. The Southeast Asian crisis will deepen and expand and affect the Ice Cube also! Just wait till the bad news comes; it's not built into Cubes price yet!
You have every right to believe; but only at your own financial peril! I said last summer while I was long Cube that this was merely a Bear Market Rally. There were many other astute investors at the time ( like Bart) who had target prices in the low 30's before the downtrend resumed. I recommend the building of a big cash position if one does not like to short. There will be bargains galore in the tech sector come the summer of 98. Be careful Ed and try to use your head! Just remember, the Bear has no heart for Bulls!
