If you are any other belief system than Shi'ite Muslim in Iran there is serious material prejudice levied against you. They are not interested in returning to Zorastrianism. The secular anti-religious group is not "out;" I suspect that is what you mean but the Persians are no where near that.
the Persians who weren't ever comfortable having an arab religion forced upon them.
The Sunni coalition are not a factor in Iran. The Iranians would just as soon slaughter Sunnis them as look at them.
there does seem some abandoning of the Sunni coalition for the Persians who weren't ever comfortable having an arab religion forced upon them.

Shi'ite (Iranian) religion stems from the same source as Sunni/Arab and there is no significant discomfort in that regard, except that the two factions hate each other. I don't know what you are talking about. Shi'ites are dreaded enemies of Sunnis, some are Arab Shi'ites, especially in Iraq, most are not Arab Shi'ites in Iran.
