There has been some stocks that recover without eliminating shares; ie. Krystals and Hawaii Airlines come to mind. You would have to look at how the recent shareholders are getting in-line with the new management or are they in line with the courts. Molten Metals has
filed suit against the IRS to recover over $7.5M in taxes paid on research revenue. From what I hear they should recover. This stock should be interesting next year. I think a few thousand shares at these levels (if you are able to throw it away) might be a good gamble.
