The Millennium Bug is back in vogue. Like bellbottoms, concerns about the calamity expected to ensue when the world's giant mainframe computers erroneously recognize the year 2000 as 1900 never really went away after being hyped a few years back it's just become ever-more gruesome and expensive to contemplate.
