David-FYI North Anmerican Vaccine has been a biotech that Mike Murphy has been advocating shorting for sometime. His logic for certain bios going up seems to make alot of sense when I read his newsletter and then confirm it with what I read on these threads but he has had few winners (the same goes for the thread opinions which were so optimistic). I have wondered that if Murphys biotech fund, his newsletter readers and the optimistice thread followers weren't buying many of these bios if the prices wouldn't even be 1/2 of their present low values. On the other hand I've noticed that when things look the worst and I can't find any reason for being positive that "timing" you mention turns everything around. I'm planning on substantially reducing my exposure to this area at the end of January regardless of where prices are. Good luck to you. Bob

"Timing, as they say, is everything...." David, Ah yes, "timing." Not one of Murphy's more obvious attributes I'm afraid. The problem sems to be most pronounced in the biotechs. Anyway, Insite continues to look promising. The company should get a nice cash infusion soon, not to mention getting its first major product on the market. This should give it a growing stream of royalty dollars. Hopefully, "Mr Market" will finally sit up and take notice. Bob
