John, Thanks for the very comprehensive overview on where the government stands. You may recall I indicated I was a management consultant. For over ten years of my experience was trying to move priority projects from sub committees to full committee with minimum tine frame. Regardless of the knowledge of committee members, their support and attempting to move any proposed bill to meet deadlines, it is impossible. Committees are reactive. If I seem disillusioned for timely congressional support on the y2k. Your right. Only the media, with its mighty sword, can make congress react in a timely manner. We can just keep pushing and just maybe, a clearer picture of the y2k fiasco will come to the top of the barrel. Dick Jimmink
