off topic--relation bet. asia and biotech

<<<<I think it came upon them in a real hurry due to the accellerated movements of information and capital that have developed in the last several years.

.......i agree only if we accept that they were in denial for years. we have been telling the japanese, koreans, ASEAN's, and chinese to OPEN YOUR MARKETS AND DEREGULATE. but, no, they thought that it was just pushy americans trying to bully them around. welll, now they see that we were right all along.

.......big ?: japan holds the key to the u.s. stock market and even techs and biotechs. if japan goes down the tubes (being the second largest world economy)--all techs and biotechs will sell off big time.

.......luckily, the japanese have been fuc#!%g around for so long that they have no choice but to clean up banks, deregulate, stimulate consumer demand, and lower taxes. however, the rapidity of their changes will affect the speed of the recovery in asia and the world tech sector.

........i think that in 3-9 months we will see a strong upward move in asian markets as they follow through with needed changes--that is why i think for the next 3-9 months we will have a buying opportunity.

......my caveat: if japan and herbert hoover hashimoto reverse course toward fuedalism and protectionism, you better buy bonds 'cause we will stay down for 1-2 years.

.........but i think this is very unlikely--the japanese need their market to go up because a large part of their banks assets are not in cash but in stocks (crossholdings) of japanese companies and lord knows they need assets! anyway, i am going to buy more ligand because i think we have a 1-6 month window of opportunity.
