Hi Joan,

I agree, the current AD is worrisome. But, it could be nullified within a few days. If not, then watch out below. As you notice, the AD is such an early indicator that you need to let it develop before trading off it.

I remember 1987 like it was last month. I was at Merrill Lynch and I was short the SP's for about a week prior to the drop. I was short during the big one and I could not believe my eyes. I went home on Friday thinking how I should have taken my big profits after that 105 point drop. Then Monday was 508 more points. This is the God's honest truth. My accountant surely has copies of my comfirmations for that time period. It was then when I loaded up on incredible buys all over the place. Could that happen again, why not?
