Many political pundits claim the only appeal of Donald Trump is racism, but they're ignoring the fact that he's the only Republican candidate for President who has promised to maintain Medicare and Social Security benefits for elderly Americans. It's amazing any other candidate even comes close, let alone a wild radical like Ted Cruz. When Jeb Bush said he want's to phase-out Medicare, no one even blinked. Commentators acted as if he had merely said he was hoping for warm weather. But Republican voters actually paid attention and Jeb Bush slipped from 17% to 3% in the polls almost overnight. When Americans first retire most have other resources besides the Medicare and Social Security Entitlement Programs. But as they age most elderly Americans end up relying very heavily on these Entitlement Programs Ted Cruz has promised to eliminate. The real world effect of these changes is on display in Russia, but we won't be seeing any breathless commentary about this from Putin's media network like ZeroHedge, so many aren't even aware it's happening.
