jelrod3, thanx for your opinion I always appreciate your thoughts on CY that is why I ask for them. I know none of us has a chrystal ball so I do not hold you accountable for what CY does or does not do.

I am a contrarian by nature re: the techs and Asia. With all the bearishness around I'm guessing we could be close to a bottom. I have played the falling knife game before and my hands are still bleeding thanx to massive declines in CY, LSI, CPQ, CSCO, COMS etc. I think these are all good companies and in the fullness of time will come back. Just how much time is the BIG question.

I've been following the LYRAB's and was tempted to scoop some before the end of the year. I think we will get a pop in January when all the pension money and bonus money comes flowing back into the market, of course I was looking for the elusive Santa rally which never happened so should have been contrairy to that and wasn't.

I did just catch a blip that the mutual fund inflows were up to 1.081 trillion from 1.078 trillion last week that's encouraging and the Nasdaq just set a new record for short interest for the month of Dec. Could you imagine if we get any kind of pop what would happen if we got some short covering, I can only hope.

Take care. Al

For 1998, I hope all of us gluttens for punishment get to see a stock price of at least $30/share. Also for 1998, I hope TJ Rodgers keeps his mouth shut, and effectively & timely ramps-up production so that there are no more miscues!

Good Luck Everyone!
