THC, starngely enough, I think the networkers are closer to the end of their bear market than the the semi, but the recovery will not be swift. I think the stock to watch is CSCO, if it does not break below about 46.5 in the next few weeks, this could mean that they will recover (but CS has its own internal problems that may take longer to correct). IF CSCO breaks, than I would say we have a good six months before these waters will be safe again. Long term, however, it would be sutpid for the developing countries to instal a copper based telecom. infrastructure thus the networkers and wireless equipment providers will florish.

THC: For what ever it is worth, my tea leaves are showing a bottom at about 6200 on the dow and about 200 on the SOX (possible spike to 190?). My turnip show a road map with a sharp declining starting early in January and going all the way to the Ides of March, a sharp spring rally (6800 to 7000 on the Dow?) and then a retest (with a partial breach of the March low) in june, and then the start of a very important bull market, possibly to 9000 by early 1999. Take this for what ever it is worth (about 2 cents), but maybe this can help keep you on the right side of the track in the next few trying months.
