I'm really excited about the cheapie Intel LGA-1150 motherboard by Gigabyte that I found. I'll build at least one computer with it and use an i7-4790K on it.

I'm not quite sold on Skylake yet. My main concern is that Intel has thinned the silicon substrate and there are reports of some cooling fans breaking Skylake processors.

Intel is saying not our fault, but this durability issue with after-market coolers was never an issue before.

VR Glasses with a virtual keyboard... What would be cool is being able to use something like this with a smart-phone.

Smart glasses offer users a keyboard to type text

Researchers upgraded their smart glasses with a low-power multicore processor to employ stereo vision and deep-learning algorithms, making the user interface and experience more intuitive and convenient.

Summary: K-Glass, smart glasses reinforced with augmented reality that were first developed by the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2014, with the second version released in 2015, is back with an even stronger model. The latest version, called K-Glass 3, allows users to text a message or type in key words for Internet surfing by offering a virtual keyboard for text and even one for a piano.
