Do we really need to go over this again? I coined the term on your behalf. Some things in life are self evident. Your entire thesis required that OEMs exclude any factors other than price when choosing a supplier. That classified CPUs as fungible commodities. They were all the same just like sugar and soybean oil. Indistinguishable by anything but price. Sugar is sugar. Frozen concentrated orange juice is frozen concentrated orange juice. Hence the encapsulation of your thesis by the simple term "Parts is Parts".

I'm hardly the only one who saw the connection.

Now get over your bitterness and move on. You lost. Live with it.
