He is the idiot's everyman. What rude moron wouldn't like to think that, yes, they too, could rule America? Here is their standard bearer. A ruddy faced, carrot topped, rude and deluded buffoon of reality TV is just what the comedy Gods ordered to "make America great again." Not. I sympathize, to a small degree, with a few of the people who are against all the "PC" stuff- but it's a lot more nuanced than their little noggins can handle. Some of the PC stuff is just manners in a multicultural society- the kind of manners a mother would approve of. Are mothers "PC" because they won't let you joke with your little friends when you use the N word, or because they won't let you insult your retarded neighbor? I think not. Does the politeness thing get carried away? Absolutely- as all things do- as the idiots against "pc" do. Because what many of these jokers would like is to call black people the N word, and Hispanics the W word, and anyone who might be from the Middle East the SN word, and women the C word- and they want to do it just because it's comfy to be in a world where they don't have to have manners, or be respectful, generally. I would argue PC makes the world a more bearable place for all of us- even if it is a strain for assholes (who nevertheless benefit from the general smoothness "PC" gives our society). And those assholes are the supporters of Trump. It will be interesting to see what wins out in the republican race. I think the asshole schtick will eventually wear thin- but who knows? Maybe the republicans like assholes even more than I think they do... Which is pretty exceptional.
